Terms of Service
Effective date: 20 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Taskeya platform at app.taskeya.com (the "Service"), provided by Taskeya ("Taskeya", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@taskeya.com of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You authorise Taskeya and its payment processors to charge the payment method on file for subscription fees, renewals, usage-based charges, taxes, and any other amounts due under your plan. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
All fees are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in these Terms. Because Taskeya is a digital SaaS product that is made available immediately after purchase, you are responsible for evaluating the Service, plan features, integrations, limits, and suitability before subscribing or renewing.
- No refunds after access or use. We do not provide refunds or credits for any period in which your workspace, account, data, features, trial conversion, or paid plan was available or used, including partial billing periods, unused seats, unused features, inactive users, downgrades, accidental renewals, or failure to cancel before renewal.
- No refunds for customer-side issues. Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction after use, change of mind, internal business changes, duplicate tools, lack of need, user error, failure to configure the Service, failure to read pricing or plan limits, local device or browser issues, third-party service outages, or a user's inability to use features that were available in the subscribed plan.
- Cancellation stops future renewals only. You may cancel from your workspace settings. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not refund charges already billed, and your paid access may continue until the end of the current paid term unless otherwise stated in-app.
- Duplicate or billing-error charges. If you believe we charged you twice for the same workspace, plan, and billing period, or charged an amount that does not match the price shown at checkout, you must contact billing@taskeya.com within 7 days of the charge with the invoice number and evidence of the issue. Verified duplicate charges or clear billing errors may be refunded or credited at our discretion, subject to payment processor rules.
- Service failure claims. A refund request based on non-delivery of the Service must include clear evidence that the contracted paid Service was not made available due to an issue caused by Taskeya. Temporary maintenance, third-party integration issues, isolated bugs, feature requests, performance differences, or unsupported workflows do not qualify as non-delivery.
- Fraud, misuse, and false claims. We may deny any refund, credit, cancellation exception, or goodwill adjustment if we reasonably believe the request is abusive, fraudulent, misleading, inconsistent with account usage logs, submitted after substantial use, based on false statements, or intended to obtain free access to the Service.
- Chargebacks and payment disputes. Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, you agree to contact us at billing@taskeya.com so we can review the issue. If you initiate an unjustified chargeback after receiving access to the Service, we may suspend the workspace, restrict future purchases, recover chargeback fees, collection costs, and unpaid amounts, and provide account usage records, invoices, access logs, and communications to the payment processor or relevant authority.
- Promotions, trials, and discounts. Trial periods, beta access, discounted plans, launch offers, coupons, setup fees, onboarding fees, custom services, and one-time payments are non-refundable unless expressly stated in writing or required by law.
- Mandatory rights. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer, statutory, or regulatory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
4. Acceptable use
You will not:
- (a) reverse engineer the Service,
- (b) use it to send spam or unlawful content,
- (c) attempt to access another tenant's data,
- (d) overload our infrastructure, or
- (e) misuse a connected third-party integration (including Google Workspace) in a way that violates that provider's terms, or
- (f) submit fraudulent refund requests, false non-delivery claims, abusive payment disputes, or misleading chargeback claims after receiving access to the Service.
We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the data you upload ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and back up that data solely to operate the Service. We do not sell Customer Data.
6. Third-party integrations (Google Workspace and others)
The Service can be connected to third-party accounts you control — including Google Workspace (Calendar, Meet, Drive). When you connect such an account:
- You authorise Taskeya to perform the specific actions described on the integration's marketplace card and in our Privacy Policy Section 3, and nothing else.
- You remain subject to the third party's own terms of service (for Google: the Google Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy).
- You can disconnect at any time from the Marketplace; doing so revokes Taskeya's access on the third party's side and deletes the access tokens we hold.
- Taskeya is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of the third-party service itself. If Google Calendar is down, Meet links cannot be generated; if Drive returns an error, file attachments will fail.
- We never use data from a connected Google account for advertising or for training machine-learning models, and we never share that data with third parties except as listed in our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and incident updates may be shared through the Service, account notices, or direct support communications.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms after reasonable notice (or immediately for security incidents).
On termination, OAuth tokens for connected integrations (including Google) are revoked and deleted within 24 hours; other account data is removed in accordance with the retention windows in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including for any data exchanged with third-party services such as Google.
10. Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses arising from third-party service outages or actions.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the DIFC Courts in Dubai.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days in advance.
